Students in elementary class are practicing our library routines and book care strategies. We are also learning how to pick books that are a good fit for us and our interests, reading level, and personal values. Please check in with your student about what they are reading to support healthy literacy choices and to promote a love of reading. If your child has picked a book that is not a good fit, try asking them how they made their book choice. Each family will have different expectations around reading choices. If you have specific family needs, please let me know so I can help guide your student to books that fit for your family.
Suggesting New Books:
When school is in session, the library is open from 7:40 until 3:15.
Kindergarten students may check out 2 items at a time. Students in grades 1-12 may check out 3 items at a time. If you need to check out additional items, please see Ms. Lucia or Mrs. Dakin to make accommodations.
Please return items by the due date. If you would like to renew an item, please bring it to the library. Items that have been requested by another patron are not available for renewal to ensure access to all patrons.
If you would like to check out an item that is already checked out, you may request that the item be placed on reserve for when it returns. You will notified when the item is available.
WRVS-Royalton Campus Library participates in interlibrary loan through the Vermont Department of Libraries. Talk to Ms. Lucia if you would like to borrow an item from another library.
Patrons are responsible for materials they have checked out under their name. You will be charged for lost items.
See Ms. Lucia to make a suggestion for new materials.
